Adults Speech Therapy

Many adults have been experiencing communication difficulties from a young age while others find themselves being challenged for the first time in later life. These speaking difficulties can come in many forms, such as stuttering, voice problems, articulation issues etc. They can be a result of accidents, illness or injury. They may also be the result of neurological disorders.

Adults should also work on improving their communication skills and try to speak without an accent to get along better with coworkers, have more prestige in the community, and potentially earn a higher salary.

Getting your communication disabled eyes checked up by a licensed speech language pathologist is the most efficient way to improve your communication abilities and help you hone the quality of life.

Will therapy work for me?

Therapy can be really helpful, but the results depend on a lot of different factors. For example, if you have a debilitating problem, your commitment matters as does the skills of your therapist. If you have an underlying psychological issue or learning disability then therapy might not be for you. It all depends on what will work best for you and what your goals are.

Everyone’s situation is different and that’s why we offer such a variety of treatment options. We make sure to make our approach to each person as individual as possible. Urvi has years of experience which means she can provide tailored treatment for your requirements too. Her experience and qualifications mean her answer will be tailored for you and any issues you may have.

Speech therapists for adults are not much different from coaches. They will help you find ways to make it easier for you to communicate or swallow.
